END OF INNINGS: Pakistan 116/0 after 19.4 It was a bit cruel to watch really, but we’d be kidding ourselves if we were to say we thought the Tigers had even half a chance at any stage…
15 OVERS: Pakistan 73/0 Butt 29*(47) Jamshed 36*(43) This is tyranny. It’s too easy. Pakistan are cruising to victory. They are hitting the bowlers everywhere and it would seem as if though Bangladesh have already thrown in the towel, or that they just weren’t fighting from the start.
10 OVERS: Pakistan 51/0 Butt 13*(30) Jamshed 32*(33) It is actually a bit unfair that it is so easy for Pakistan. Miles ahead in terms of run rate and wickets. This should be over in no time as both Butt and Jamshed have made friends with the fence.
5 OVERS: Pakistan 23/0 Butt 2*(9) Jamshed 2*(22) Pakistan off to a steady start, finding the fence a couple times in those last five overs. There is no need to go bezerk as the required run rate is a measly two runs per over.
END OF INNINGS: Bangladesh 115 all out after 38.2 overs Well there is absolutely no reason in the world that Pakistan should lose this, unless the cricket gods are cruel and sadistic. If it weren’t for the extras Bangladesh would not even have reached a ton. Bangladesh played this game without any meaning and perhaps rightfully so as it is the most meaningless game we have seen in the whole Asia Cup.
35 OVERS: Bangladesh 105/8 Razzak 2*(9) Reza 2*(22) Shock! Horror! Bangladesh lost another couple wickets in those last few overs. Anjum trapped Mortaza LBW and Mahmudullah was caught at leg slip.
30 OVERS: Bangladesh 97/6 Mahmudullah 9*(44) Reza 1*(7) Oh dear. It just keeps on getting worse for the poor Tigers, they are another wicket down after Rahim was run out. Unless one of those two can craft a very hefty innings by grace, it should all be over soon.
25 OVERS: Bangladesh 86/5 Mahmudullah 4*(30) Rahim 10*(28) On the bright side, there is a very good opportunity here for Pakistan bowlers to obtain career best figures. The bad news is that scoring zero to one an over just won’t get the job done for Bangladesh.
20 OVERS: Bangladesh 77/5 Mahmudullah 0*(8) Rahim 7*(20) Pakistan have tamed the tigers after Anjum claimed Kapali. The delivery pitched outside the off stump with some extra bounce. Kapali tried to defend but opened the face of the bat instead and it was taken by Younis at first slip. Bangladesh will be lucky to get 150.
15 OVERS: Bangladesh 70/4 Kapali 16*(15) Rahim 3*(10) Pakistan in an extremely dominant position here. The whole Bangladesh top order has fallen and Pakistan have only used three bowlers! Kapali has had a bit of a go at Anjum, two fours in his last over. Will he be able to pull the 100-runs-in-ten-overs-stint again?
10 OVERS: Bangladesh 47/2 Hasan 0*(0) Iqbal 24*(37) Pakistan are restricting Bangladesh to singles. Ashraful looked like he was about to kick start the innings after he sent a Rauf delivery for six, but revenge is sweet and he was caught at point off the next ball. Troublesome Tigers, as usual.
5 OVERS: Bangladesh 20/1 Ashraful 7*(7) Iqbal 11*(18) A very good start for Pakistan as Nazimuddin who did very well in the previous game is sent back tot he dressing room. He swung too early and got a thick top edge to it. Malik ran across from cover to take an easy catch.
Nazimuddin and Tamim Iqbal walk out. They can have as much fun as they'd like considering there is no spot left in the finals. Tanvir has been given the ball. We're ready for some action...

Hello everybody. Just a reminder that today’s game is a bit meaningless after India romped to victory over Sri Lanka yesterday to clinch the final spot. Don’t worry though, we’ll keep you updated as these two teams fight for their pride. We'll have team, toss and pitch news for you when it becomes available.
