RESULT: Delhi Daredevils beat Deccan Chargers by six wickets. Daredevils 194/4 after 20 overs. Deccan Chargers 182/9. The Deccan Chargers started off well enough and were still in with a shout in the final few overs. However, they lost wickets at critical stages. This win puts the Daredevils back on track for a semi-final spot.

Over 20: Mishra will bowl the final over. Teja plays it into the air and Malik takes a running catch at long-on. It's two wickets from two balls as Ojha plays it straight down mid-off's throat. Mishra gets the second hat-trick of the tournament as RP Singh advances down the track and gets stumped. Sarvesh Kumar and Vijaykumar can only get two runs from the final two balls.

Over 19: McGrath starts his final over and Ravi Teja takes a single from the first ball. Rao hits the ball into the air and Shoaib Malik takes the catch at long-on. Teja gets a single and brings new man Kartik on strike. Kartik gets one down to long-off before Teja smashes it over deep point for six. The last ball yields a single to long-off.

Over 18: Styris and Rao get two singles from the first two balls. Styris hits the ball in the air and AB de Villiers takes a running catch at long-on. The batsmen crossed and Rao smashes Maharoof down the ground for six and over extra cover for four. He makes it 18 off the over with a six over cow corner.

Over 17: Styris and Roa get two singles before the New Zealander smacks one wide of long-off for four. Styris follows it up with another boundary down to long-on and a single to long-off. Rao plays it down to third man for another boundary.

Over 7: Spinner Amit Mishra comes into the attack and Afridi goes after him, but he plays it into the air and mid-off takes the catch. Rohit Sharma joins Gibbs in the middle and they add two more singls to the total.

Over 6: Maharoof gets a bowl and Gibbs gets a single to square leg. Afridi and Gibbs add two more singles before the Pakistani gives himself room to smashes it over extra cover for six more. Afridi ends the over with one down to long-off.

Over 5: Gibbs plays McGrath's first ball over the extra cover boundary for the maximum and his third ball over the square leg boundary for six more. The South African gets a single to mid-on from the fifth ball and that gives Afridi the opportunity to mishit the ball over point for four.

Over 4: Afridi plays Asif down the ground and gets four before picking up a single to the on-side. Asif sends down a wide. Gibbs goes over the covers to notch up his first boundary and then picks up a single to deep square leg. Afridi smashes the final ball over midwicket for six.

Over 3: Gilchrist plays McGrath's first ball to mid-off and Dilshan takes a low catch, which brings Gibbs into the middle. Gibbs needs three balls to get off the mark witha single before Afridi get five runs thanks to the overthrows.

Over 2: Mohammad Asif will bowl the second over. Afridi mistimes one to midwicket, but it falls short and he gets a single. Asif bowls a wide and then Gilchrist plays it wide of point for another boundary. Gilchrist gets a lucky four after edging one wide of slip before getting an edge off the final ball, which drops short of the keeper.

Over 1: McGrath's first ball is right on target, but Gilchrist smashes the second ball through the covers for four and then picks up a single to midwicket. Afridi is all defence first up and then plays it through the covers for a boundary. The final ball yields a leg-bye.

INNINGS TOTAL Daredevils 194/4 after 20 overs. Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan's hundred-run partnership helped the Daredevils to a very impressive total. The Chargers, whose batting is yet to fire, will need to be at their very best if they want to pick up only their third win.

Over 20: Dhawan smashes the first ball of the final over down the ground and gets two runs before swinging it down to fine leg for three more runs. Dilshan chips it over short fine leg for four and then gets one to the off-side. Dilshan tries to steal a cheeky single, but Gilchrist is alert and runs Dhawan out. Tiwary plays the final ball down to fine leg for four.

Over 19: Vijaykumar will bowl the penultimate over. Dhawan and Dilshan get only three singles from the first four balls before Dilshan goes down on one knee to hit it over the square leg boundary for the maximum.

Over 18: Maharoof plays Ojha's first ball to cow corner for six and then picks up a single to long-off. Dhawan picks up a leg-bye to the on-side and Maharoof slices the ball into the air and Sharma takes an easy catch at point. Dilshan replaces his fellow Sri Lankan batsman. Dhawan gets a single and Dilshan starts his innings with a four through the covers.

Over 17: RP Singh's first ball is played to square leg for one. Maharoof plays it down to Sharma at long-on, but the Indian batsman drops a dolly and they take two runs. Maharoof plays the fourth ball through the covers and gets two for his trouble before going straight down the ground for six runs. The final ball also goes down the ground, but it's only a single.

Over 16: Ojha gets a bowl and Dhawan plays his first ball to fine leg for one before Gambhir gets stumped after missing a ball down the leg side. Farveez Maharoof is the new batsman and he is off the mark with a one to fine leg. Dhawan sweeps and sweeps it for four to fine leg before picking up a leg-bye to the off-side.

Over 15: Styris starts his final over and Dhawan gets a single to midwicket before the bowler throws in a wide. Gambhir takes one to long-off and Dhawan takes one to deep point before a reverse sweep past a fumbling short third man yields two more runs. Gambhir then goes over short third man for four more before picking up one into the covers. Dhawan gets another run down to long-off before Gambhir gets one to midwicket.

Over 12: Gambhir advances down the track and plays Venugopal Rao wide of long-on for four before getting his half-century with a single into the covers. Dhawan reverse sweeps the spinner and gets four down to third man before picking up a single to fine leg. The final two balls yield two more singles to the Daredevils.

Over 11: Dhawan slaps Styris through the covers and gets two runs before exchange singles with Gambhir. Dhawan plays the fifth ball into the covers and two more before picking up another four through midwicket.

Over 10: Spinner Venugopal Rao gets a bowl and Dhawan and Gambhir pick up two singles into the covers. Rao throws in a wide before Dhawan uses his feet to play it through midwicket for four. He sweeps the next ball and gets two and then ends the over with one down to long-on.

Over 9: Dhawan plays Stryis' first ball to third man for one and then Gambhir goes to long-off for another single. More poor fielding from the Chargers allow Dhawan to pick up another single. Gambhir opens up and hits a one-bounce four wide of long-on. Styris' final two balls are scoreless.

Over 8: Dhawan starts off with a single down to fine leg. Gambhir plays the third ball onto his knee and he is in some discomfort. The physio comes onto the field. Hopefully the magic spray will do the trick. Play continues after a brief break and Gambhir and Dhawan pick up two singles to the on-side.

Over 7: Scott Styris comes into the attack and Gambhir gets one to deep point. Dhawan drives wide of point and his lovely placement lands him four before he picks up a single to the off-side. Gambhir also picks up one to the point region before Dhawan plays it to the on-side for another run.

Over 6: Gambhir nudges new bowler Sarvesh Kumar down to third man for a single and then a misfield from Afridi at point gives Dhawan another run. Gambhir gives himself room and gets a thick edge down to the third-man boundary. Kumar tosses in a wide fifth ball and then Gambhir takes a quick single to the on-side.

Over 5: Dhawan gets a single down the track from Vijaykumar's second ball before Gambhir has to put the dive in to get a single of his own. The fifth ball also produce a single, this time to square leg. Gambhir goes airborn the final ball and it just clears the hands of the diving fielder, resulting in three runs.

Over 4: RP Singh starts with a wide before Dhawan nudges the first legal delivery down to deep backward square leg for one. Gambhir hooks (replace hook with slap if you like) the next ball into the crowd for the maximum and repeats the trick the next ball for six more. He then plays a drive wide of point for four before taking a well-judged leg-bye to the off-side. Dhawan keeps the strike with a single to the on-side.

Over 3: A brilliant second over from Vijaykumar. Gambhir and Dhawan can only get a single each from the six balls.

Over 2: Shikhar Dhawan is the new batsman, but it's Gambhir who will face RP Singh's first ball. Gambhir drives the second ball through the covers, but brilliant fielding from Rohit Sharma keeps it down to just one run. Dhawan gets off the mark with four after a dodgy edge through first and second slip.

Over 1: Gambhir nudges the first ball wide of midwicket and he picks up two runs. Vijaykumar strays down the leg side third ball and Gambhir helps it down to the boundary, Gambhir then picks up a single to fine leg. Sehwag slashes the final ball of the over straight down the throat of third man and the Chargers pick up their first wicket.

Paidikalva Vijaykumar will deliver the first over and it will be Gautam Gambhir facing, with Virender Sehwag at the other end.
